I started working afor Icon Health and Fitness at the end of Sep. I work in a call center and troubleshoot workout equipment, order parts and extended warranties. I only took this job because I was desperate, but as it turns out I am pretty damn good at it. I started as a temp and after a few short week I was able to take a certification test that would allow me to be hired on full time and raise my commissions. I did not pass the first time (no one does) but the second time I took the test, one week later I got 100%! I was the first person ever to get 100 on that test. Ryan and I jokingly call it the kobayashi maru. I even got recognized in a Friday training in front of the whole call center for that achievement. I also then got hired on full time by Icon and was given a raise, at this point I became eligible to apply for a different position in the call center.

Today I had an interview for a quality position. I would listen to calls and score the reps who are helping customers. After my interview however I was told by my team lead that the main boss of the whole call center doesn't want me to leave the call floor because I am one of the best agents. I was then told that I was going to become a backup team lead and they want to sit new agents with me to train them. I would also get another raise. I have never worked somewhere and felt this appreciated. I have had customers email my team lead and praise my work and I have had other department heads stop me and tell me that they are impressed with my personality and the way I handle my customers, or ask me to call a customer for them. I am amazed that a job I was dreading turned out to be such a good opportunity for me and my family, and its literally across the street from where we live. What a blessing this has turned out to be.
Some things have changed since Ryan moved in...... All for the better, and some just crack me up! Along with Ryan came the boys learning to play chess, many very cool Star Wars toys and some super fun toy guns. He also has an Xbox 360 and the boys get to play Ghost Busters sometimes...... when they have been good. They like to watch Ryan play, and from watching him play we now have a shooting game at the house. I know some will be disturbed by this, I however am not. I got the boys and Ryan nerf guns for Christmas so they can kinda play for real. For now they just pretend and run around the house, and if they get shot they have to re-spawn in the designated area. Its fun to watch, I even join in sometimes. Its so nice to have Ryan in our lives, the boys have needed a fun man to play with and look up to and I am so happy we have found that in him. Here are some pictures of the boys being boys.

Bored

I finally had two hole days off in a row, and frankly I don't know what to do with myself. Ryan and I are both sick, but we did get almost all of our Christmas shopping done yesterday. I did most of my shopping online. He however tried to do something sweet for me and took the boys shopping to get me a gift....... well as you might imagine it didn't go as well as he had planned.  The boys are, well terrible to take shopping. It ended up being very stressful to him, I think next year he will stick to online shopping. We got our tree on Friday and started putting up the lights on the house tonight, but we have postponed that till tomorrow to give the lights time to un-kink.
We have a Sox tree. :)

The "Rio" as I call it.
When we are done I will post more pictures.

Here we go again!

I some how lost my password to my other blog. I could not recover my password, due to the fact I no longer have access to my old email. Thus now I have a new blog. We will see if I am better this time around at keeping it updated.
